GIJ and its Network
We like to work in networks, making the most of the synergies that can develop in our relations with other entities or people.
In this section we will show you some of the projects we are developing from the Gabinete de Iniciativa Joven to spread creativity and imagination in any field, our collaborations, presence in social networks 2.0 and new progressive projects related with sport and nature.

GIJ in the Region
One of the challenges we have is to be present within the region of Extremadura and in order to achieve this we have links with organizations such as REDEX – Extremaduran Network for rural development www.redex.org -, and AUPEX –Association of Adult Education Centres of Extremadura www.aupex.net Together we develop projects such as “GIJ en Zapatillas” (http://www.aupex.org/gabinetezapatillas), a way of sharing the values and practice of the Society of the Imagination with Adult Education Centres; and “Territorio 10”, a process for training abilities for the entrepreneurship of young people in rural areas.
Creativity Week
As you probably already know International Creativity Day is celebrated on 21 April.
For us creativity is one of the most important ingredients for the development of any project, so every year we carry out a huge number of activities during the week of 21 April. You can see this on www.semanadelacreatividad.org
2009, European Year of Creativity and Innovation
The key message that the European Commission wishes to convey to member countries is that creativity and innovation contribute towards economic prosperity but also towards social and individual well-being.

El Anillo
"El anillo" is a commitment of the Department of Youth and Sport to a development model based on the creation of innovative projects and initiatives in the field of sport, sports and nature tourism, leisure and free time.

Territorio 10
Territorio 10 is a project set up by the Extremadura Network for Rural Development and the Gabinete de Iniciativa Joven with the aim of promoting the entrepreneurial spirit of young people aged between 16 and 35 and whose ideas and projects are aimed at rural areas in Extremadura.“Territorio 10” is based on two initiatives: a training plan so that they can develop their ideas and projects, and the first year of the awards “Young and living in Extremadura”, which has over 30,000 euros in prizes, as well as an experiential trip for the winners.
